About the Role

We are looking for an Entry-Level Network QA Engineer to join our team remotely. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about quality assurance and eager to work in the telecommunications field. As an Entry-Level Network QA Engineer, you will be involved in all quality assurance activities, including LTE and 5G field protocol testing, ensuring that user equipment meets carrier requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute test strategies and plans for 4G and 5G air interface technology.
  • Perform detailed analysis of 4G and 5G protocols, conducting field testing with mobile devices in live networks.
  • Analyze customer requirements and convert them into system requirements for the development team.
  • Review and provide recommendations to improve user equipment performance by evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Set up test plans and meet deadlines based on project lead requests.
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time for field testing and troubleshooting.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a technical field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in 3G, 4G, 5G, or LTE preferred.
  • Strong understanding of LTE and 5G network architecture.
  • Familiarity with UE log post-processing tools (e.g., QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark).
  • Ability to analyze and debug IMS-related features.
  • Previous experience in LTE and 5G NR field testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SIM OTA activation testing.
  • Knowledge of VoLTE, VoWiFi, and RCS features.
  • Familiarity with mobile work environments and field testing.
