About the Role

We are seeking an Entry-Level Network QA Engineer to join our dynamic team at Lensa. This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while gaining hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry. As an Entry-Level Network QA Engineer, you will be involved in various Quality Assurance activities, including LTE and 5G field protocol testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring user equipment (UE) meets quality and carrier requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute test strategies and plans for 4G/5G air interface and call processing technology.
  • Perform detailed analysis of 4G and 5G protocols, including field testing with mobile devices in a live network environment.
  • Analyze customer requirements and convert them into system requirements for the development team.
  • Review and provide recommendations to improve UE performance by evaluating key KPIs.
  • Set up test plans to meet deadlines based on project requests.
  • Travel 25% of the time to various field sites for testing.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a technical field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in 3G, 4G, 5G, or LTE.
  • Strong understanding of LTE and 5G network architecture.
  • Familiarity with UE log post-processing tools such as QXDM, QCAT, and Wireshark.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in post-processing UE logs and analyzing various KPIs.
  • Knowledge of IMS-related features including VoLTE, VoWiFi, and SMS.
  • Prior experience in SIM OTA activation testing.
