Entry-Level MERN/​MEAN Stack Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Entry-Level MERN/MEAN Stack Developer to join our team at BeaconFire Inc. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States while contributing to innovative web applications. As a MERN/MEAN Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing dynamic web applications using cutting-edge technologies.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, Node.js, React.js, and Angular 2+
• Write scalable, secure, and maintainable code as part of an Agile team
• Create, deploy, and manage automated system tests
• Collaborate with testers to resolve bugs and issues promptly
• Explore and present new tools/technologies for architectural consideration
• Stay updated with new programming languages, frameworks, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
• Experience with JavaScript or other programming languages (Java, Python, C/C++, C#, etc.)
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems
• Strong passion for building pixel-perfect user interfaces
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• 0–1 year of hands-on experience in JavaScript development
• Familiarity with at least one major JavaScript framework: Angular 2+, React.js, or Express.js
• Experience with unit and integration testing using frameworks such as Jasmine, Cucumber, Mocha, Karma
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology
