About the Role

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level IIoT Edge Engineer to join our team at Vibotek LLC. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge industrial IoT solutions. As an IIoT Edge Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage industrial edge computing solutions, focusing on real-time data processing and cloud integration. You will work with various edge devices and protocols to connect machines, sensors, and controllers in smart factory environments.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement industrial edge computing solutions using IIoT edge devices such as Jetson, Siemens IoT2040, and Azure IoT Edge.
• Integrate edge devices with cloud platforms, including AWS IoT and Azure IoT Hub.
• Utilize protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus for effective communication.
• Develop applications using programming languages such as Python, C++, and Node.js.
• Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.
• Document processes and maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of IIoT concepts and edge computing.
• Familiarity with edge devices and cloud integration.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and C++.
• Knowledge of protocols like MQTT and Modbus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills.
