Enterprise Account Executive - Remote Sales Specialist
About the Role
We’re hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team at Chainguard. As an Enterprise Account Executive remote, you will leverage your extensive sales experience to build relationships with key decision-makers and promote our innovative solutions for secure software development. This role is pivotal in helping our customers understand the immense value Chainguard brings to their software supply chains.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute sales plans for your assigned territory, focusing on enterprise-level clients.
- Convey the value proposition and product differentiators to prospects and customers effectively.
- Forecast, meet, and exceed sales quotas through a combination of inbound and outbound leads.
- Develop and manage a robust leads funnel, utilizing CRM and other supporting tools.
- Collaborate with product, support, and sales engineering teams to enhance the sales cycle.
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape, understanding competing companies and their offerings.
- Travel to client locations as needed to strengthen sales relationships.
- Continuously learn about new products and processes to better serve our clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in technology or cybersecurity.
- Domain experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or DevOps tooling.
- Strong track record of consistently overachieving sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in an agile environment and adapt to evolving solutions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and resourcefulness.
- Team player with a collaborative spirit.
Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS or developer tools sales.
- Startup experience and a strong sales aptitude.
- Fundamental understanding of the sales process.
