Enterprise Account Executive - DACH Region (Remote)

About the Role

We’re seeking an Enterprise Account Executive - DACH Region (Remote) to join our dynamic sales team at Chainguard. In this role, you will leverage your extensive sales experience to build relationships with key decision-makers and promote our secure software solutions. You will be instrumental in defining and executing sales strategies for your assigned territory, ensuring that our customers recognize the immense value of Chainguard’s offerings.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute comprehensive sales plans for the DACH region.
  • Effectively convey the value proposition and product differentiators to prospects and customers.
  • Forecast, meet, and exceed sales quotas through a combination of inbound and outbound leads.
  • Develop and manage a robust leads funnel while tracking opportunities through CRM and other tools.
  • Collaborate with product, support, and sales engineering teams to enhance all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, including familiarity with competing companies and their offerings.

Requirements

  • Fluent or native German speaker with a solid understanding of the DACH market.
  • A minimum of 6 years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the tech sector.
  • Domain knowledge in compute platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps tooling, and CI/CD platforms.
  • Proven track record of consistently overachieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed to support sales relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong work ethic and resourcefulness.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in SaaS or developer tools sales.
  • Startup experience and a strong sales aptitude.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment with evolving solutions.
