Downstream Manufacturing Process Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Downstream Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Richter Biologics. This Downstream Manufacturing Process Engineer remote position offers a unique opportunity to work on the production of biological products in a cleanroom environment while engaging in project work. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the development and optimization of manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the production of biotechnological products in a Class C cleanroom under GMP conditions, utilizing techniques such as column chromatography, tangential flow filtration, and precipitation methods.
• Support the downstream team leader in daily operations and project management.
• Handle deviations, CAPAs, and changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in the validation of manufacturing processes and contribute to project assignments.
• Help standardize ongoing processes and assist in the planning and optimization of production workflows.

Requirements

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as Biotechnology, Process Engineering, or Biology, with a solid understanding of bioprocess engineering.
• Some professional experience in a biopharmaceutical environment under GMP and/or cleanroom conditions is preferred.
• Strong technical understanding and a meticulous work ethic, essential for maintaining quality standards in a pharmaceutical setting.
• Fluency in German is essential, and good English skills are desirable.
• Ability to coordinate workflows while considering overarching contexts.
