Director of Rapid Response for Threat Intelligence - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Rapid Response for Threat Intelligence to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. This remote role is pivotal in leading our Unit 42 Threat Intelligence team, where you will coordinate efforts to provide actionable threat intelligence and response capabilities during major global events. What You'll Do

• Lead coordination for threat research, product protection, and communication efforts during major global events.
• Collaborate with threat analysts, detection engineers, and security consultants from various teams and departments.
• Foster strong relationships and gain buy-in across teams to address complex threats.
• Coordinate priorities across diverse teams, including Communications, Legal, and Marketing.
• Triage and prioritize threat intelligence research requests during Rapid Response engagements.
• Develop actionable cross-team intelligence products relevant to internal and external defenders.
• Manage the flow of Rapid Response content, including blogs and social media updates.
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through podcasts and security conferences.

Requirements

• Highly organized with the ability to manage complex multi-tasking and prioritize effectively.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills to communicate complex threat intelligence information.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-organizational threat analysts.
• Proven experience leading threat intelligence projects and integrating intelligence systems.
• Experience throughout the cyber threat intelligence lifecycle, from data collection to production of intelligence outputs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with graph databases (e.g., Synapse) is a plus.
