About the Role

We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will develop and execute digital marketing strategies that effectively promote the initiatives and programs of AFWERX. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and driving engagement through various digital channels.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to promote AFWERX's mission and initiatives.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of engaging content across social media, websites, and email campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and drive results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all digital channels.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in digital marketing and recommend innovative strategies to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure consistency of the AFWERX brand and communication across all products.
  • Participate in discussions to gather critical information for product development and inform team members on strategic knowledge.

Requirements

  • Must have a DoD Secret clearance or higher.
  • Degree or certificate in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing with at least 3+ years in a military or government context.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, particularly in social media, content marketing, and SEO.
  • Ability to strategize, execute, and analyze social media campaigns across various platforms.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools to track and interpret data for campaign success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of web development and user experience.
  • Experience in creating and executing email campaigns.
  • Flexibility to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
