Technical Support Engineer - Remote Position at Fundraise Up

About the Role

We’re Fundraise Up, a global fundraising platform, and we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer remote to join our team. In this role, you will not only assist clients but also become a product expert and advocate for our users. You will help ensure that our technology, which powers tens of millions of dollars in donations each month, continues to perform seamlessly and effectively.

What You'll Do

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert technical support and guidance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to our platform, including backend systems powered by Node.js and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex issues and improve product functionality.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and advocate for product improvements.
• Document solutions and create knowledge base articles to enhance client self-service options.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React and Vue.js.
• Fluent in English and Russian, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a remote team and manage your time effectively.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with analytics tools like ClickHouse and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role.
