Dietitian - Remote Position for Geriatric Rehabilitation
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our team remotely, focusing on the nutritional care of patients in geriatric rehabilitation. As a Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in helping patients maintain, restore, or improve their nutritional status and quality of life. This remote Dietitian position offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on patient care.
What You'll Do
- Provide nutritional assessments and interventions for hospitalized patients in geriatric rehabilitation.
- Apply Evidence Based Practice (EBP) in your nutritional care processes.
- Document patient progress rigorously and regularly in their medical records.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rehabilitation conferences and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of professional practices, especially regarding protein-energy malnutrition in geriatric rehabilitation.
- Assist in training students and interns in nutrition and dietetics.
- Flexibly cover for colleagues in other care units as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a recognized equivalent.
- Strong interest in clinical nutrition within the field of geriatric rehabilitation.
- Experience in rehabilitation and knowledge of external networks are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
- Intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous professional development.
- Organized, autonomous, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in French (C1 level) and ability to read scientific articles in English.
- Proficient in standard office software (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
