Deputy Team Leader - Spare Parts Management (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Deputy Team Leader for Spare Parts Management to ensure smooth operations and structured processes in our logistics team. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead and support a dedicated team while contributing to the overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support the team in spare parts management, ensuring effective workflow and timely order processing.
• Organize, manage, and monitor operational processes in the spare parts department.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and adherence to quality standards.
• Evaluate and develop relevant KPIs to enhance performance metrics.
• Collaborate with adjacent departments to optimize workflows and improve service delivery.
• Participate in personnel planning and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement sustainable solutions for operational challenges and contribute to inventory management.
• Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Requirements

• Completed training as a specialist in warehouse logistics or a comparable qualification with several years of experience in goods receipt/warehouse management.
• First leadership experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in SAP-supported warehouse management systems.
• Strong skills in MS Office applications (especially Word, Excel, Teams).
• Excellent command of German, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and teamwork capabilities.
• Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented working style.

Nice to Have

• Experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices.
