About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is essential for supporting the mission of the US Cyber Command, ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems. As a Cybersecurity Engineer remote, you will apply your expertise in IT networking management to maintain constant communications availability and accessibility.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of network management to troubleshoot complex network problems and outages.
  • Implement and maintain Cisco Unified Call Manager and Cisco Meeting Manager, ensuring optimal network performance.
  • Analyze and operate network technologies from vendors such as Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, and Palo-Alto.
  • Configure network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls to enforce security procedures.
  • Develop new methods and propose policies to improve network capabilities and security measures.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role, demonstrating competencies necessary for immediate success as a Cybersecurity Engineer remote.
  • Experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
  • Ability to work shifts and adapt to changing mission requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with F5 Load Balancers and advanced network monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with cloud security practices.
