Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 2 or 3) - Remote Opportunity

What You'll Do

• Design, plan, implement, and assess security controls and compliance with NIST standards.
• Assist in implementing system security architectures and provide advanced technical analyses of cyber infrastructure challenges.
• Participate in team reviews of technical requirements and design plans prior to deployment.
• Serve as a Cyber Security Engineer (ISSE) and support high-level technical expertise.
• Communicate the significance of security baselines clearly and effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with no experience for Level 2; for Level 3, Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or a Master's with 3 years.
• Active/current Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience in requirements development, system integration, and validation.
• Valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar security certification.
• Experience with technologies like Rapid 7, Trellix, and Splunk.

Nice to Have

• DoD 8570 IAM II/III Certification (CAP, GLSC, CISSP, CASP CE).
• Knowledge of DoD 8500-series IA policy directives.
