Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 2/3) - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are looking for a Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 2/3) - Remote Opportunity to join Northrop Grumman, a leader in technological advancements. As a Cyber Systems Engineer, you will be involved in designing, planning, and implementing security controls in compliance with NIST standards and DoD guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement security architectures to safeguard cyber infrastructure.
- Perform assessments of security controls and ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and DoD RMF.
- Provide advanced technical analyses and develop solutions for cyber infrastructure challenges.
- Participate in team reviews of technical requirements and implementation plans.
- Serve as a Cyber Security Engineer (ISSE) providing high-level expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with no experience for Level 2.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years for Level 3.
- Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
- Experience with requirements development, system integration, and validation.
- Valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar certification.
Nice to Have
- DoD 8570 IAM II/III Certification (CAP, GLSC, CISSP, CASP CE).
- Knowledge of DoD 8500-series IA policy directives.
- Experience with Rapid 7, Trellix, and Splunk technologies.
