About the Role

We are looking for a Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 2/3) - Remote Opportunity to join Northrop Grumman, a leader in technological advancements. As a Cyber Systems Engineer, you will be involved in designing, planning, and implementing security controls in compliance with NIST standards and DoD guidelines.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement security architectures to safeguard cyber infrastructure.
• Perform assessments of security controls and ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and DoD RMF.
• Provide advanced technical analyses and develop solutions for cyber infrastructure challenges.
• Participate in team reviews of technical requirements and implementation plans.
• Serve as a Cyber Security Engineer (ISSE) providing high-level expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with no experience for Level 2.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years for Level 3.
• Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience with requirements development, system integration, and validation.
• Valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar certification.

Nice to Have

• DoD 8570 IAM II/III Certification (CAP, GLSC, CISSP, CASP CE).
• Knowledge of DoD 8500-series IA policy directives.
• Experience with Rapid 7, Trellix, and Splunk technologies.
