Credentialing Specialist - Remote Healthcare Position
About the Role

What You'll Do
- Coordinate facility-specific medical staff office and non-privilege applications for clinicians.
- Establish working relationships with internal and external personnel to facilitate application processes.
- Collaborate with clinicians to ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Track and document the entire facility application and reappointment process.
- Initiate and ensure malpractice coverage for clinicians.
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of clinician applications for hospital privileges.
- Maintain credentials databases to disseminate hospital privilege status.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and facility requirements.
Requirements
- Two years of college education in business or related field, or 1-3 years of experience in a medical staff office.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Experience with credentialing software systems is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
