Creative Playable Developer - Game Development Focus

About the Role

We're hiring a Creative Playable Developer to join our team at Scorewarrior, a game developer based in Cyprus. As a Creative Playable Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our creative marketing team by developing engaging playable ads. This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our flagship game, Total Battle.

What You'll Do

• Develop game mechanics in Cocos Creator using pre-existing assets and scenes.
• Finalize and package playable ads for major ad networks such as AppLovin, Unity, Google, Facebook, and IronSource.
• Utilize Google Analytics to interpret performance data and apply insights to enhance playable ads.
• Deliver 2 gameplay-ready playable ads per month when building from scratch.
• Consistently produce 6+ playables per month by leveraging existing mechanics.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of proven experience as a Playable Ads Developer.
• Excellent knowledge of Cocos Creator (v3.x+ preferred).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES5/ES6).
• Familiarity with Canvas rendering; experience with Pixi.js or Three.js is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS (Sass/SCSS/Stylus), and responsive cross-platform layout.
• Understanding of adaptive layout principles and experience with JS and CSS animations (GSAP or native).
• Experience with Webpack or other build tools.
• Comfortable using Git for version control.
• Ability to apply OOP principles and SOLID design patterns in your code.
• Portfolio showcasing published examples of playable ads.
• Basic skills in Photoshop, Figma, or Adobe Illustrator for asset preparation and optimization.

• Experience with Node.js for build scripts and automation.
