Corporate Support Specialist - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Corporate Support Specialist remote to join the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) team. This role is pivotal in supporting our Productivity, Trade and Innovation Sector (PTI) by enhancing corporate functions such as budget planning, execution, and workforce management. As a Corporate Support Specialist remote, you will play a crucial role in improving lives in Latin America and the Caribbean by providing data-driven insights and supporting strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Support PTI’s annual administrative budget cycle, including budget formulation, execution, and monitoring, ensuring alignment with PTI priorities.
• Develop and implement data-driven tools and solutions, such as dashboards and reports, to monitor budget trends and prepare analytical inputs for decision-making.
• Assist in workforce planning and HR processes, including onboarding and offboarding, ensuring consistent application of HR policies.
• Provide guidance on procurement, contracts, and payments, ensuring timely and compliant execution of administrative processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes through simplification, standardization, and automation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related fields.
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in resource planning and administration roles, with a focus on budget management.
• Experience in developing analytical tools, such as Power BI dashboards, and familiarity with enterprise systems like SAP or Hyperion.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
• Citizenship in one of the IDB’s 48 member countries is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience in public-private partnerships or international development projects.
• Knowledge of digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
