Corporate Development & Strategy Specialist - Hydrogen Industry
About the Role
We are seeking a Corporate Development & Strategy Specialist to join our team at cellcentric, a leader in the hydrogen industry. This Corporate Development & Strategy Specialist remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions while working with some of the most experienced professionals in the field.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategic projects that drive cellcentric’s long-term positioning in the global fuel cell market.
- Conduct in-depth market, competitor, and technology analyses, transforming insights into actionable recommendations for senior management.
- Prepare strategy papers, board-level presentations, and briefings for executive leadership, including the CxO team.
- Identify emerging trends, regulatory developments, and business opportunities within the international hydrogen ecosystem.
- Contribute to the continuous development of our corporate strategy and strategic planning processes.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders (e.g., Daimler Truck, Volvo Group) and internal stakeholders across functions (e.g., R&D, Operations, Finance) to align strategic initiatives.
- Support organizational and cross-departmental activities such as leadership workshops, steering committees, and ad-hoc executive projects.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in economics, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
- Approximately 3 years of professional experience in hydrogen, energy, mobility, strategy, consulting, or related sectors.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear strategic insights.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, proactive working style, and willingness to take ownership of projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams; Power BI is a plus).
- Fluency in English; German skills are an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the automotive or energy sectors.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the hydrogen industry.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
