About the Role

We are seeking a Corporate Development & Strategy Specialist to join our team at cellcentric, a leader in the hydrogen industry. This Corporate Development & Strategy Specialist remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions while working with some of the most experienced professionals in the field.

What You'll Do

  • Lead strategic projects that drive cellcentric’s long-term positioning in the global fuel cell market.
  • Conduct in-depth market, competitor, and technology analyses, transforming insights into actionable recommendations for senior management.
  • Prepare strategy papers, board-level presentations, and briefings for executive leadership, including the CxO team.
  • Identify emerging trends, regulatory developments, and business opportunities within the international hydrogen ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of our corporate strategy and strategic planning processes.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders (e.g., Daimler Truck, Volvo Group) and internal stakeholders across functions (e.g., R&D, Operations, Finance) to align strategic initiatives.
  • Support organizational and cross-departmental activities such as leadership workshops, steering committees, and ad-hoc executive projects.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in economics, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
  • Approximately 3 years of professional experience in hydrogen, energy, mobility, strategy, consulting, or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear strategic insights.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, proactive working style, and willingness to take ownership of projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams; Power BI is a plus).
  • Fluency in English; German skills are an advantage.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the automotive or energy sectors.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the hydrogen industry.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
