About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance & Data Research Lead - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will spearhead compliance initiatives and lead data research efforts, ensuring our data practices align with regulatory standards. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while tackling complex, high-impact problems that shape the future of our data organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the compliance and data research team, overseeing projects related to regulatory compliance and data governance.
  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks and methodologies that align with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
  • Conduct thorough audits and assessments to ensure adherence to GDPR, TAX Compliance, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and integrity across various platforms, including GCP and BigQuery.
  • Utilize tools such as SQL, Python, and Tableau to analyze data and generate insights that inform compliance strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, data research, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, including GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages, including SQL and Python.
  • Experience with data modeling, microservices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in financial services or legal services.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency taxation and compliance.
  • Knowledge of performance marketing and sales processes.
