About the Role

Reddit is seeking a Community Manager - French Speaker (Remote) to join our International Community team. This role is crucial in fostering local communities and enhancing user engagement. As a Community Manager, you will leverage your expertise in the French market to build relationships with local moderators and users, driving growth and community engagement.

What You'll Do

• Gain a deep understanding of the French market to identify user and moderator pain points, competitors, and opportunities.
• Cultivate and grow a local community of moderators, implementing strategies to onboard external creators and local users.
• Act as a public face for local volunteer moderators, building trust and driving engagement within communities.
• Innovate and scale the community growth playbook by recognizing new opportunities and suggesting bold ideas.
• Communicate insights to optimize the international consumer growth playbook.
• Run reports, analyze data, and set KPIs to execute impactful community initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of community development, project management, or product consulting experience.
• Deep knowledge of French culture, including current events and internet culture.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Results-oriented with a high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English and based in the UK or Ireland.
