Communications Manager - DACH Region (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and talented Communications Manager to join our team at StubHub, focusing on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). This Communications Manager remote position plays a pivotal role in shaping our corporate and consumer communications strategy, ensuring our brand resonates with audiences across various channels.

What You'll Do

• Plan and implement a comprehensive corporate and consumer communications strategy for viagogo in the DACH region.
• Support day-to-day proactive brand and reputational storytelling to enhance our visibility.
• Drive policy communications, translating complex policy issues into accessible content for media and the public.
• Develop integrated communications strategies that support brand initiatives across sports, music, entertainment, and social impact.
• Craft compelling narratives that highlight our brand’s role in cultural partnerships.
• Build and maintain a proactive editorial and social media calendar for partnership activations.
• Manage relationships with DACH media across various verticals, including business, lifestyle, and sports.
• Oversee press materials and manage media inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in communications and media relations, preferably in media, entertainment, or lifestyle sectors.
• Strong media relationships within the DACH region, particularly in Germany.
• Proven track record in pitching and securing press coverage.
• Experience in crafting compelling media narratives using data and insights.
• Strong expertise in content strategy and leading social media campaigns.
• Project management skills with hands-on planning and execution experience.
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate reputational risks.
• Experience managing brand partnerships and working with executives.
