About the Role

United Infrastructure is excited to announce an opening for a Site Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Site Manager, you will lead critical projects in the social housing sector, focusing on roofing and external works. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage all site activities related to roofing and externals in occupied social housing properties.
  • Conduct comprehensive site inductions, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Monitor project progress against the programme, proactively resolving any on-site issues to avoid delays.
  • Ensure all works are delivered to the highest quality standards and meet all contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including reporting and documentation.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and operatives to ensure smooth site operations and project milestones are met.
  • Ensure all personnel on site are properly trained and equipped with appropriate PPE and tools.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team on cost tracking, reviewing subcontractor scopes, and approving day works.
  • Uphold excellent customer service standards and actively support community engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Appropriate CSCS Managers card.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • SMSTS certificate.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Temporary Works Certificate desirable.
  • Fire Marshall certificate desirable.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in managing projects within the social housing sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
