About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Liner to join our dynamic team at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company. This Commercial Liner remote position offers the chance to work with a leading company in the container shipping industry, known for its commitment to excellence and teamwork. As a key player in our operations, you will be the primary contact for existing customers in your designated trades, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

What You'll Do

• Act as a competent point of contact for existing customers in your trade areas.
• Create tailored offers for inquiries and follow up diligently.
• Prepare customer and trade reporting to provide insights into performance.
• Conduct market observations and research, including market analyses.
• Contribute to the volume budget preparation to align with company goals.
• Continuously develop your trade areas and customer portfolios.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and our headquarters in Geneva.
• Participate in both internal and external meetings to foster collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or shipping.
• Excellent communication skills with a winning personality.
• Strong assertiveness, focus, and commitment to your work.
• A collaborative mindset, believing in teamwork to achieve goals.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with market analysis tools and reporting software.
