Collections Advisor II - Remote Position at Bancolombia
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Collections Advisor II to join our team at Bancolombia. This remote position involves managing assigned delinquent accounts using established strategies and policies to recover debts and contribute to the achievement of collection metrics.
What You'll Do
- Manage and record collection efforts through various channels for clients reflecting delinquency on their products to prevent provisions and potential losses.
- Research updated information in different software systems to contact clients who are difficult to locate, ensuring accurate contact information is stored in the collections software.
- Offer various payment arrangements to clients unable to pay their outstanding balances and follow up until the account is normalized.
- Identify and report operational issues that may lead to losses or poor service to clients.
- Process debits to clients' deposit accounts to apply towards delinquent products.
- Contact payers to investigate reasons for non-application of discount orders, helping to clear retention agents or reactivate discounts to normalize product delinquency.
- Address inquiries from clients and internal bank units to provide necessary support in resolving issues related to client delinquency.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Technical Degree.
- Proficient in recent versions of Microsoft Office.
- Basic finance skills.
- Knowledge of technological and digital trends.
- Experience in telephone collection management and outreach to difficult-to-contact clients.
