Cloud Platform Engineer - AWS and Terraform (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you'll play a vital role in supporting enterprise modernization goals through hybrid-cloud administrative and engineering practices.

What You'll Do

• Design, maintain, and optimize hybrid platforms that integrate on-premises infrastructure with AWS cloud services.
• Administer AWS environments (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3) to support enterprise workloads.
• Migrate legacy systems to AWS, developing modernization roadmaps and workload readiness assessments.
• Provide senior-tier support for complex AWS identity, network, or compute issues.
• Monitor, optimize, and maintain cloud and on-prem compute, storage, networking, and identity components.
• Implement performance dashboards and conduct root-cause analysis for performance issues.
• Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns and collaborate on Terraform module designs.
• Support CI/CD infrastructure pipelines for automated deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of hybrid-cloud environments and enterprise modernization.
• Experience in designing and administering AWS environments.
• Proficient in troubleshooting complex AWS issues and providing solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Certifications in AWS or related cloud technologies.
