About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A OTR Truck Driver to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Class A OTR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight across long distances while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to enjoy home time on weekends and some weeknights.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently across various states.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on your vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by law.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OTR truck driver.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
