About the Role

We are looking for a Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our team at Warburtons, the UK’s No.1 bakery brand. This Class 2 Delivery Driver role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a family business that has been baking since 1876. As a Class 2 Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering our delicious baked goods to our customers in the Basingstoke area and beyond. What You'll Do

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle to deliver products to various customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Load your vehicle with baked goods, either at the depot or on the move, ensuring everything is organized and easy to find.
• Maintain knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation to ensure compliance and safety.
• Provide top-notch customer service, building strong relationships with our clients.
• Manage delivery notes and electronic devices to ensure accurate order picking and delivery.
• Work a defined rotating 5-day pattern, including weekends, with shifts starting between 03:30 and 04:00.
• Participate in a 6-week induction program and ongoing CPC training during working hours.
• Act as an ambassador for Warburtons, representing our brand positively in all interactions.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence with Class C entitlement.
• Digital Tacho Card and Full Driver CPC certification.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage difficult conversations calmly and professionally.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and transport legislation.

Nice to Have

• Experience in multi-drop delivery driving.
• Familiarity with the local area and routes.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
