What You'll Do

• Assist the examinations team in the preparation and supervision of examinations.
• Support learners in a calm and approachable manner while maintaining examination integrity.
• Monitor attendance and behavior in the examination room, ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Ensure the security of examination paperwork and prevent candidate malpractice.
• Act as a reader, scribe, or prompt for allocated learners as directed.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on new procedures and regulations.
• Notify learners of exam start and finish times, maintaining efficient timekeeping.
• Report any concerns regarding the conduct or administration of examinations to the exams officer.

Requirements

• Satisfactory DBS check (essential).
• Full, clean driving license and access to own vehicle with business use insurance (essential).
• Qualified to grade C/4 at GCSE level or level 2 Functional Skills in both English and mathematics (essential).
• Experience in basic administration (essential).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills (essential).
• Previous experience in invigilating or supervising examinations (desired).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection legislation (essential).
• Highly organized with effective time management skills (essential).
