About the Role

We are hiring a Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Abbeyfield Society.   • Contribute to the continuous improvement of care standards and practices.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
  • Support residents in making choices that promote their dignity and independence.

Requirements

  • No prior experience in care is necessary; a caring attitude is essential.
  • Demonstrated compassion, patience, and respect for others.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
  • Integrity and responsibility in delivering safe, high-quality care.
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a care setting is a plus but not required.
  • Understanding of the needs of older adults and those with dementia.
