What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents, focusing on their individual needs.
- Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and mobility.
- Foster a warm and inclusive community atmosphere within the care home.
- Build trusting relationships with residents to promote social interaction and a sense of belonging.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while following care plans accurately.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of care standards and practices.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Support residents in making choices that promote their dignity and independence.
Requirements
- No prior experience in care is necessary; a caring attitude is essential.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and respect for others.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
- Integrity and responsibility in delivering safe, high-quality care.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a care setting is a plus but not required.
- Understanding of the needs of older adults and those with dementia.
