Senior Manager, Strategic Planner - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Planner to join our team at KBR. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in operational planning and logistics support for military operations, ensuring effective integration of contingency support plans. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), which has been a cornerstone of our mission since 1992.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the operational planner between KBR’s planning team and the US Government, integrating LOGCAP contingency support plans and operations.
• Guide a team in support of the military decision-making process and produce Technical Exhibits and other deliverables for the Operations Plan.
• Develop basing solutions and conduct overall risk assessments to ensure logistical readiness.
• Perform location reconnaissance when permitted and develop contractor aviation support as needed.
• Participate in designated exercises to validate planning decisions and provide advice to Army Materiel Command (AMC) staff regarding LOGCAP capabilities.
• Assist the US Government with coordinating requirements for mobilization sites and power projection activities.
• Prepare and coordinate documents and information papers, presenting briefings on current logistics support in the theater of operations.
• Attend meetings, conferences, and planning groups to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
• Attended Command and General Staff College (CGSC), MEL4 minimum.
• Former Military Senior Officer, Lieutenant Colonel or Higher Rank.
• Experience in a MAJCOM staff or Joint staff.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Nice to Have

• War College Graduate is a plus.
• Project management skills, including leadership and accountability.
• LOGCAP experience is a plus.
• General understanding of LOGCAP concept of operations, including Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• Possess a passport with at least 15 months of remaining validity and six blank visa/stamp pages.
