Business Operations Analyst - Temporary Remote Position

About the Role

Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a Business Operations Analyst - Temporary Remote to join our Story & Franchise Development team. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Pull and organize operational and financial data for internal reporting and planning.
• Update reporting templates, dashboards, and materials used in monthly and quarterly reviews.
• Maintain headcount tracking files and consolidate staffing inputs from production teams into planning templates.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and contract approvals, maintaining related documentation.
• Assist the Senior Analyst with data preparation for forecasting, planning exercises, and review cycles.
• Identify data inconsistencies and flag issues that may impact reporting or planning accuracy.
• Support improvements to reporting, tracking, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in business operations, analytics, finance support, or a similar analytical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as business, analytics, or related discipline) or equivalent work experience.
• Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
• Strong commitment to data accuracy with the ability to analyze information and identify inconsistencies.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet tools and comfort working with structured datasets.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with operational reporting or planning processes.
• Familiarity with reporting tools, Power Query, or data preparation workflows.
• Experience with production or project management tools such as Flow (AKA ShotGrid).
• Passion for video games and familiarity with Blizzard IPs.
