Business Development Representative - Remote Role

About the Role

We're hiring a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team at Tide. This remote role offers you the opportunity to support our mission of helping SMEs save time and money through innovative banking solutions. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in our operations, especially in the German market, ensuring that our services reach those who need them the most.

What You'll Do

  • Support the German Field Sales Lead in daily operational and campaign activities.
  • Communicate confidently in German and English with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns and local field activations focused on Berlin.
  • Coordinate marketing materials such as banners, roll-ups, and giveaways.
  • Manage and align external promoters and freelance telephone agents.
  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, and contractor communication.
  • Represent Tide at local events, fairs, and sponsorship activities.
  • Conduct survey-based telephone outreach for member engagement (no cold calls).
  • Gather market intelligence and lead research for local campaigns.
  • Support reporting, analytics, and dashboard tracking (KPIs, funnel data).
  • Ensure compliance and legal adherence for all field activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Partnerships, and Compliance teams.
  • Consolidate weekly insights, feedback, and content from field operations.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, field marketing, or operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • Hands-on approach – comfortable working both in the field and behind the scenes.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce/HubSpot), spreadsheets, and tracking tools.
  • Interest in local business communities, events, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and solution-driven personality.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools.
