About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team at Alan. This remote position focuses on the Belgian market, where you will play a crucial role in helping us expand our presence and become the number one insurer in Europe. As a Business Development Representative, you will engage with high-growth companies, qualify leads, and generate meetings with key stakeholders, all while embodying our mission of transforming health benefits into valuable investments.

What You'll Do

  • Generate meetings with prospects to achieve company objectives through personalized outreach.
  • Develop outbound sales leads and respond to product inquiries, running email campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
  • Conduct quick lead qualification before allocating leads to Account Executives.
  • Represent our company’s products with a deep understanding and consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.
  • Understand, embrace, and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method to enhance the prospect experience.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to learn from the best in the field.
  • Contribute to the growth and improvement of our products and strategies.

Requirements

  • Passion for sales and a desire to help companies transition to a more personal health partner.
  • Experience in Sales or customer-facing roles is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage influence through persuasion and negotiation.
  • Empathy for customers and a passion for revenue and growth.
  • Understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking.
  • Familiarity with the health insurance industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
