BIM Manager - Remote Position at DLB Associates
About the Role
DLB Associates is seeking a passionate BIM Manager remote to join our innovative engineering team. As a BIM Manager remote, you will play a crucial role in supporting MEP Engineers across various projects, ensuring precision and efficiency in our design processes. What You'll Do
- Manage and set up Revit models and BIM 360 / ACC Hubs, ensuring adherence to DLB BIM standards.
- Create and maintain project-specific template sheets and develop advanced Revit families based on project needs.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and trade leads to ensure model health and project success.
- Serve as a BIM Helpdesk for real-time troubleshooting and train team members on Revit and proprietary tools.
- Assist with modeling and detailing as needed, ensuring quality control before submission.
- Implement firmwide standards and create documentation for best practices and processes.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and support high-quality work output.
- Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of experience producing construction documents using Revit for MEP Engineering Firms.
- Proficient in Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks, with strong skills in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- Experience in mentoring team members and developing training materials.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work successfully in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-enabled tools and digital workflows.
- Knowledge of industry standards for MEP Engineering.
- Ability to adapt to emerging technologies and innovative tools.
