Benefits Operations Analyst - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Benefits Operations Analyst remote to join our dynamic team at Kota. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing how benefits are delivered across our innovative platform. As a Benefits Operations Analyst, you will support our growth and improve operational efficiencies in a rapidly expanding company.

What You’ll Do

• Handle new business administration by setting up new employer schemes and facilitating application processing between employers, employees, and insurance providers, while also updating our CRM and internal systems.
• Support scheme renewals by collaborating closely with employers and insurance providers, partnering with customer success teams to refine processes and enhance the customer experience.
• Own policy event administration, processing policy changes including joiners, leavers, dependents, cancellations, and amendments; coordinate across internal teams and providers.
• Interact with customers as part of a support function, acting as the first line of investigation for benefit and policy-related queries, owning issue resolution.
• Liaise with insurers and providers on escalations, tracking recurring issues, and maintaining high-quality documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in operations, insurance, benefits administration, or customer support.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and navigate complexity.
• Excellent written communication skills, thriving in interactions with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and perform well when tasked with significant responsibilities.
• Comfort in fast-paced environments, adapting to ambiguity and evolving processes.
