About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect - Migration and Modernization (Remote) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AWS technologies to guide clients through the process of migrating and modernizing their cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of cloud solutions that meet our clients' needs.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement AWS cloud solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Lead migration projects, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture and deployment.
  • Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate deployments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into existing applications.
  • Provide guidance on cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of cloud resources.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS services and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an AWS Solutions Architect or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including AWS Control Tower, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data migration and data warehouse solutions, such as Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with serverless architecture and event-driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
