AV Builds and Operations Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are hiring an AV Builds and Operations Specialist - Remote to join our dynamic team at Stripe. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our audio-visual (AV) experiences are top-notch, equitable, and consistent across our global offices.

What You'll Do

• Research and develop AV technology standards across our offices, ensuring best practices are implemented.
• Act as the highest point of escalation for AV issues, managing incidents of varying complexity and criticality.
• Maintain best-in-class in-office collaboration support through effective cross-functional communication.
• Contribute to the maturation of our services and processes, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
• Support the production and operation of high-tier internal events, such as Company All Hands.
• Ensure equitable AV experiences globally by leveraging remote-managed technologies.
• Own and manage the design, procurement, installation, and sign-off of new office builds and retrofits.
• Develop run books and document processes for operational support teams to ensure repeat success.
• Work autonomously and navigate ambiguity to deliver high-impact projects.
• Collaborate with other teams at Stripe to support the future workplace.
• Travel to offices as needed for project work and event support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in an enterprise environment, scaling build and deployment processes.
• Prior experience in delivering and developing complex technical solutions.
• High-level knowledge of AV hardware and software infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of streaming and event production workflows and necessary protocols.
• Experience designing and supporting high-complexity production spaces and standardized conference room systems.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors globally to deliver overlapping projects on time.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience being a catalyst for positive change in a global organization.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

• CTS and/or CTS-D certification.
• Q-Sys Level 1+ certification.
• Dante levels 1–3 certification.
• Experience with QSC and Crestron programming.
• Project Management experience.
• AV managed services oversight in line with ITIL 4 frameworks.
