Automotive Technician Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Automotive Technician Specialist to join our team at Bridgestone. This remote automotive technician specialist role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing high-quality automotive services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, electrical systems, ignition, cooling systems, exhaust systems, braking systems, and ABS/ESP.
• Handle tire mounting, balancing, and repairs, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct geometry checks and adjustments, as well as suspension, transmission, and clutch replacements.
• Manage battery installation and maintenance, including air conditioning checks (with proper certification).
• Repair and refurbish thermal engines and transmission components, ensuring complete mechanical and electrical restoration.
• Maintain electric and hybrid vehicles, adhering to safety regulations and technical documentation.
• Establish diagnostic sheets and repair orders according to company standards.
• Provide technical advice to customers, enhancing their experience and promoting additional sales of products and services.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role with a relevant diploma (CAP, BTS, CQP, etc.) or 3 years of proven experience without a diploma.
• Valid driving license (Permis B) is required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and systems.
• Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
• Team player with a strong customer service orientation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Certification in air conditioning maintenance.
• Additional technical certifications related to automotive services.
