Automation OT Project Engineer - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
Join us as our Automation OT Project Engineer in a remote capacity at Takeda, a leader in biopharmaceuticals. This role is pivotal in defining and delivering strategies for our operational technology (OT) infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead OT automation projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
- Define project objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements for automation initiatives.
- Coordinate and motivate cross-functional stakeholders, including automation, IT, production, and maintenance teams.
- Oversee lifecycle management of OT equipment and systems, ensuring production continuity and compliance with industry standards.
- Implement and maintain upgrade and patch strategies across operating systems, applications, and OT devices.
- Author and review engineering documentation, including functional and design specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance and reliability of OT systems.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure solutions meet operational requirements.
Requirements
- Industrial IT/Automation OT degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of OT environments and their interactions with IT systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and expertise in Windows configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience in lifecycle management and upgrading strategies for automation systems.
- Knowledge of industrial standards, OT cybersecurity, and engineering best practices.
- Fluency in French and English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Linux, Armis, and NinjaOne.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning and risk management.
