Station Systems Technician - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

Join our Engineering Team at Telent as a Station Systems Technician and enjoy the opportunity to innovate and contribute to critical infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for those looking for a hands-on position in a dynamic environment. As a Station Systems Technician remote, you will work closely with experienced technicians and have a direct impact on the maintenance and operations of vital systems.

What You'll Do

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV and Public Address systems.
• Conduct planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Ensure SISS assets are well maintained and communication faults are reported and resolved.
• Utilize field IT equipment to provide real-time maintenance data.
• Liaise with the Telent Service Centre for tasking and updates.

Requirements

• Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems.
• Good understanding of O365 packages and IT awareness.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work permanent nights from 10pm to 6am.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
