Account Manager - Sports Technology
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Account Manager to join our team at STATSports, a leader in sports technology. This Account Manager role is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United Kingdom while supporting our professional sports clients globally. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing client relationships and ensuring they receive maximum value from our innovative GPS performance tracking systems.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, ensuring clients receive timely and effective support.
- Provide expert Sports Science consultancy and strategic account management services to elite sports organizations.
- Ensure clients are utilizing the most up-to-date products and are fully trained on every aspect of the system.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through exceptional communication and professionalism.
- Ensure the successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Respond promptly and accurately to client queries, assisting with challenging requests or issues escalations as needed.
- Maintain accurate client records in Salesforce, documenting all interactions and updates.
- Visit clients throughout the year to ensure their needs and objectives are being met effectively.
- Develop new business opportunities with existing clients and identify areas for improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify and grow opportunities within territories.
Requirements
- A degree in Sports & Exercise Science or equivalent, with at least a 2:1 classification.
- Experience working or coaching in High-Performance Sports using a GPS Performance Tracking System.
- Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Willingness to travel for work, up to 50% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Fluency in another European language.
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-focused role.
