Associate Account Manager - Remote Position

About the Role

We're hiring an Associate Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Customer.io. This remote Associate Account Manager position is perfect for someone eager to start their career in account management and customer success. You will play a crucial role in supporting a portfolio of customers by building strong relationships and managing renewals, all while ensuring that our clients receive the best service possible.

What You'll Do

• Manage a book of business, serving as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Support renewals and expansion efforts in partnership with Account Managers.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and understand their goals and usage of Customer.io.
• Monitor account health and key performance indicators, identifying risks and surfacing opportunities early.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Billing to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate account records and activity in our CRM.
• Continuously build your knowledge of our product, customers, and industry trends.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, or another customer-facing role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Curiosity and a genuine interest in helping customers succeed.
• Experience working in SaaS or using CRM tools is a plus.
• Must be located in the Americas or Dublin, Ireland.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with email marketing or automation tools.

• Starting salary for this role is $60,000 Base + $25,000 Variable = $85,000 OTE USD (or equivalent in local currency).
