Asset Specialist - Remote Opportunity at EuroTeleSites

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Specialist to join our team at EuroTeleSites. This Asset Specialist remote position will allow you to be at the forefront of our newly created EuroTeleSites (A1 Towers Business). You will be responsible for setting up and running the asset management operations in our tower company.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of the organization’s assets.
• Implement and manage asset tracking systems to monitor the status, location, maintenance, and other relevant information about the organization’s assets.
• Coordinate with other departments to identify and procure necessary assets.
• Develop and implement strategies for effective asset management, including lifecycle management and disposal.
• Perform regular physical audits to ensure the accuracy of the asset inventory.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for asset disposal and replacement.
• Identify opportunities to optimize asset use and reduce costs.
• Provide asset management training and support to other staff members.
• Prepare and deliver reports on asset performance and forecasts (AB, AHS, ARO).
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to asset management.
• Monthly booking of accruals and change of existing real estate contracts.
• Support internal and external audit processes, requiring deep knowledge of account policy and detailed local and group implications.

Requirements

• Strong, several years of experience in an Asset Management expert role.
• Solid expertise in asset management processes and systems.
• Analytical skills with a deep understanding of materials, statics, and durability.
• High level of process understanding and system knowledge of SAP.
• A degree in business administration or accounting is an advantage.
• Positive and solution-oriented attitude.
• Strong capability to think strategically with pragmatism and result orientation.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience in communication across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to drive group initiatives with heterogeneous teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 booking.
• Familiarity with SOX reporting and internal controls.
