About the Role

We are seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do

  • Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft electrical wiring and components of moderate difficulty.
  • Perform inspections, including 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft electrical wiring, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, and more.
  • Read and interpret manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical data.
  • Lead teams through complex aircraft relevant tasks and make entries in aircraft logs and records.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic.
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft electrical wiring and component troubleshooting.
  • Ability to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours.
  • Must be able to change physical locations based upon need.
  • A&P License and prior E-6B experience are preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience performing major aircraft modifications.
  • Able to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance.
  • Prior experience in a military environment.
