About the Role

Curana Health is hiring strong AI Software Engineers who are passionate about building intelligent AI solutions that transform healthcare delivery, streamline operations, and reduce administrative burden. As a member of the technical staff, you will help build the next generation of clinical and operational tools—working at the intersection of large language models, machine learning, software engineering, and data engineering. This role is 100% remote.

What You'll Do

• Work with a team of developers to design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI solutions.
• Continuously monitor and optimize AI models for accuracy, scalability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and healthcare data security requirements in all development activities.
• Utilize your expertise in Python and data engineering to enhance AI capabilities.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Bring 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in healthcare or other regulated industries.
• Be highly proficient in Python and have strong data engineering skills.
• Have hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, paired with clear communication skills for collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations beyond HIPAA.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages like Java or C++.
