Accounting Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team remotely. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the strategic growth of Papoutsanis, a leading Greek personal care products manufacturer with over 150 years of expertise.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the accuracy of accounting records and financial statements.
• Maintain and implement the company's accounting plan.
• Design and review accounting procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax legislation.
• Support and supervise the completion of year-end accounting tasks.
• Manage the closing of books and submission of tax obligations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial accounting position.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a Master's degree or accounting certification (e.g., ACCA) is a plus.
• Right to sign as a Class A accountant.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and spreadsheet applications.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Greek and International Accounting Standards.
