Account Executive - Remote Role in Food Marketplace
About the Role
We are seeking an Account Executive remote to join our dynamic team at Saltz, a revolutionary digital marketplace in the food industry. As an Account Executive remote, you will play a crucial role in transforming how chefs order food, connecting them directly with suppliers. What You'll Do
- Introduce Saltz to chefs, restaurant owners, and F&B managers, persuading them to utilize our innovative platform.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of restaurant and HoReCa accounts, focusing on building lasting relationships.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand their challenges and identify how Saltz can better serve them.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by actively listening and asking insightful questions.
- Establish trust with chefs, GMs, and procurement teams, positioning yourself as a reliable advisor.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate client feedback into actionable improvements for the platform.
- Drive account growth by ensuring clients remain engaged and actively ordering through Saltz.
- Represent Saltz at industry events and trade shows, leveraging your credibility in the HoReCa sector.
Requirements
- Proven experience in selling food products to restaurants, hotels, or other HoReCa clients.
- Strong understanding of food pricing, margins, and chef purchasing decisions.
- A track record of successfully growing existing accounts.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- Fluent in German (C1) and proficient in English.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with digital marketplaces or SaaS solutions in the hospitality industry.
- Experience selling to hotel chains or multi-unit restaurant operators.
- An existing network within the local HoReCa market.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
