Process Engineer - Continuous Improvement (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our team at Mondelēz International. This remote Process Engineer role focuses on continuous improvement initiatives that enhance our operational efficiency and support our commitment to quality in the food industry. You will play a pivotal role in data collection, ensuring data accuracy, and driving continuous improvement processes within our department.

What You'll Do

• Conduct training on tools and methods for continuous improvement.
• Assist departments in adhering to our established Daily Management System (DMS).
• Support various teams with data collection and extraction to facilitate continuous improvement activities.
• Facilitate root cause analyses to address identified losses and gaps in departmental KPI scorecards.
• Establish new work standards to maintain improvements.
• Train colleagues on the safe use of continuous improvement tools and new work standards developed from improvement activities.
• Analyze data to identify and eliminate losses using tools such as Power BI.
• Design and implement smaller digital solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Fluent in English and proficient in German (minimum B2 level).
• Experience with continuous improvement systems and high-performance environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage in team discussions about continuous improvement activities.
• Experience applying Lean and/or TPM tools in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Ability to process and validate data in both manual and automated systems.
• Practical experience with digital tools such as Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Excel.
• Organized and disciplined work style to support and communicate the DMS process.
