About the Role

Rockstein Consulting GmbH is seeking a dedicated Working Student in Software Development to join our innovative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for students who are currently studying and have a keen interest in software development and automation. As a Working Student in Software Development, you will work remotely and gain valuable insights into strategic consulting and cutting-edge technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and enhance an iOS app using Swift/SwiftUI or a cross-platform framework like React Native or Flutter.
  • Connect the app to backends, APIs, and databases to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Build modern web frontends for landing pages, dashboards, or internal tools that enhance user experience.
  • Implement UI/UX concepts in clean, responsive code to create visually appealing applications.
  • Design and implement n8n workflows to automate various business processes effectively.
  • Develop and optimize AI agents through prompt engineering to improve automation capabilities.
  • Maintain and optimize existing automations to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Contribute actively with innovative ideas and insights into modern technologies and strategic consulting.

Requirements

  • Enrolled student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Practical programming experience, capable of implementing features independently.
  • Experience with frontend languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Knowledge of either iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) or a cross-platform framework (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
  • Basic understanding of APIs (REST, JSON) to facilitate app development.
  • Familiarity with Python and Git (e.g., GitHub/GitLab) for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with n8n or automation workflows is a plus.
  • Strong interest in AI, automation, and modern tech stacks.
  • Structured and independent working style with a pragmatic mindset.
  • Very good German and English language skills are essential for effective communication.

Nice to Have

  • Previous internship experience in software development or related fields.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and startup environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) would be beneficial.
